Rockwood Retirement Communities is hiring a Massage Therapist for our South Hill Campus.

Job Shift:

On-Call/Appointment based, commission based

Hours would depend on appointments scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Job Functions:

• Demonstrate superior knowledge of massage therapy
• Ability to perform Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, and Relaxation massages
• Preferred experience with body scrubs
• Assist with keeping the salon, massage rooms and waiting areas welcoming and tidy
• Maintain supply of towels/linens
• Occasionally run chair massage specials for other departments and for residents
• Ensure proper sanitation procedures are completed before and after every appointment
• Attend all in-services and mandatory meetings
• Preferred experience with senior population

Requirements:

• Current Washington State issued Massage Practitioner License
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a professional massage therapist
• Ability to take initiative in exceeding quarterly goals
• Ability to work well with other departments and in team settings
• Comfortable using a POS computer system and experienced using Microsoft Outlook and salon software
