Role Overview

This is the person that loves data and geeking out. Needs to understand the importance of keyword search volume, organic rank, and how a product is positioned within the digital shelf. Needs to be an expert in data analysis and able to derive actionable insight from the numbers. Works with the Merchandising Manager to correlate product features/benefits with search behavior to ensure our products are being seen. Will be tasked with a portfolio of brands to understand, prioritize, and work cross-functionally to optimize, track, improve sessions and impression share.

Responsibilities

Research, formulate, and execute organic rank strategy to improve organic sessions and impression share

Track impression share metrics and prepare regular reporting

Identify keyword opportunities for organic rank improvement

Track search volume changes to stay ahead of trends

Collaborate with the creative team to ensure they're informed of the search terms we need to highlight

Work with the advertising team to ensure keyword targeting is coordinated

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience selling on Amazon • BA/BS undergrad degree • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and data analysis/manipulation • Creative thinker • an intrinsic interest in consumer products • Tech savvy • Has the ability and preference to self-manage • Excellent organization and project management • Ability to communicate effectively and think critically • API and/or SQL experience is preferred
