Job Description
The Production Lead for Ohio University Well-Being & Recreation serves as the primary contact to print, distribute, and promote marketing materials. Specific tasks include producing banners, handbills, posters, and large-scale signage that engage with students and promote registration for departmental programs. Prerequisites for this position are a good sense of organization, familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, adherence to university brand standards, and exceptional teamwork skills.

Actively contributes as a student staff member of the Department and Division that upholds the
framework of equity and social justice. Performs job duties in a manner that appreciates diversity
and fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members of the OHIO community.
Actively participates in professional development opportunities when available and maintains
current knowledge of emerging trends, best practices, and related issues regarding all relevant areas of responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Current Ohio University student in good standing
  • Communications, public relations, marketing, advertising, or related major
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Working knowledge and experience with a variety of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
  • Experience with social media management platforms (TweetDeck, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Professionalism in collaborating and communicating with co-workers and full-time staff
  • Strong organizational skills, work ethic, and initiative
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office apps
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Available to work 10 hours a week

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with event promotion and marketing
  • Experience with AP style and writing for the media
  • Understanding of Campus Recreation either via previous employment, participation, or courses strongly recommended
