Hi there! We’re looking for an all-around marketer and creative storyteller to drive critical aspects of Everlance’s go-to-market strategy for both our enterprise and self-employed products.

As part of a small (but mighty!) team, you’ll have the opportunity to own a variety of projects to increase traffic and engagement, acquire users and generate leads, including

  • Setting and executing the SEO and content strategy
  • Producing long- and short-form content, such as articles, videos and interactive tools
  • Managing the email marketing and nurture programs
  • Building the social media presence of our company and key personnel
  • Developing field marketing campaigns to support the sales team

Our ideal candidate has experience in some, if not all, of the above areas, and is eager to learn about and develop your skills in each. You are interested in the full content lifecycle from planning to distribution, and enjoy regularly testing, measuring and optimizing your work to deliver incremental results.

Your responsibilities

  • Understand our target audiences and develop a content roadmap that delivers value and engagement at each stage of the buyer’s journey
  • Conduct keyword research and regular content audits to shape our content strategy and improve search rankings for key topics
  • Create well-researched content, including but not limited to articles, videos, case studies, research reports, webinar presentations and interactive tools
  • Partner with the Brand Designer to produce content that’s visually compelling and effectively uses visuals to reinforce key points
  • Build marketing and sales emails that work together to nurture cold and warm prospects
  • Manage social media calendar for LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
  • Develop relationships with media and other content creators to grow backlinks
  • Plan content distribution on additional channels as appropriate, and execute by working with internal stakeholders, including product/lifecycle marketing, user acquisition and influencers, partnerships and sales
  • Contribute to creative concepting and writing for ad campaigns
  • Support marketing activities for in-person and virtual events
  • Regularly report on results, using insights to inform future strategy

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of marketing experience
  • Strong writing skills
  • An eye for good design and visual communication
  • Audience-first approach and flexibility to move between speaking to different audiences
  • Familiarity and comfort with SEO
  • Attention to detail, quality and consistency
  • Proactive communication and motivation to thrive in a remote position. We are remote-first and have an office in downtown San Francisco
  • Willing to jump in and help out wherever needed, we all wear many hats!
  • Experience at a startup is a plus
