Description of Duties for Marketing Director:

  • Designs, implements, executes and is responsible for overall marketing plan to maximize return on investment.
  • Establishes performance and profit objectives for short-term and long-term goals.
  • Develops and manages the annual Marketing Budget and Operation Plan.
  • Develops, directs and executes short-range and long-range marketing plans, programs and systems to support the strategic direction of the Casino.
  • Ensures that the social media messaging is in line with the branding of the casino and updated on a consistent basis.
  • Conducts and oversees Marketing Surveys or other Market Research on current and new product concepts including competitor analyses.
  • Maintains strong open lines of communication with other department heads to ensure effective marketing projects.
  • Is responsible for creating, enhancing and complying with the Casino’s Internal Control Policies and Procedures as they relate to Marketing.
  • Reviews the performance, productivity and efficiency of the Marketing Staff by conducting periodic evaluations.
  • Administers disciplinary actions for marketing staff when necessary.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Work Requirements for Marketing Director:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years related Marketing industry experience, with 5 of those years at director level in a casino.
  • Experience in the South Florida Gaming Market is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
  • Must possess strong leadership skills to manage, motivate and develop staff.
  • Must have strong customer service abilities.
  • Must be able to lead by example and work with the team.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
