WHAT YOU GET TO DO


The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the VP Marketing, Marketing Manager, internal stakeholders, and customers to ensure the success of overall marketing, business development and sales goals and objectives. This includes assisting with marketing and communications activities as well as logistical planning of trade shows, events, conferences and supporting meetings and events.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Assists the VP Marketing to ensure that the KNAPP brand is aligned with corporate marketing strategy, as well as working closely to execute the go-to-market strategy that will ensure the success of KNAPP US (KUS) and the KNAPP Group.
  • Works with marketing and management teams to coordinate and launch media strategy.
  • Responsible for coordinating internal departmental communication between the marketing, sales operations, accounting, and management teams. Facilitate the alignment between marketing, business development, sales, KUS stakeholders and KNAPP AG stakeholders.
  • Interact with internal and external resources to complete projects, events and logistics at a high level of quality, on time and on budget, with minimal supervision.
  • Create and launch social media posts and blogs, with guidance from the Marketing Team
  • Issue and track purchase order requests and vendor payments. Conduct and/or coordinate market and competitive research.
  • Manage lists and contacts database for on-line and print publications, professional organizations, sales, conferences, tradeshows and events, and attendees.
  • Provide support for social media marketing strategies.
  • Work with CRM, ABM, ABS, and marketing automation tools.
  • Manage promotional literature, corporate ID giveaways and inventory; negotiate with and manage vendor relationships.
  • Investigate, recommend, and coordinate and submit applications for industry awards
  • Support VP Marketing and Marketing Manager with marketing campaigns, trade shows and special events
  • Coordinate KNAPP interactions and deadlines with media and professional organizations; arrange and schedule on-site tours, videos, interviews and other related tasks
  • Assist in the creation of pre-show and post show meetings, communications, agendas and manage campaigns where required.
  • Track expenses and assist in financial reconciliation.
  • Video creation and editing skills a plus
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.


WHAT YOU HAVE


Requirements & Skills
:

  • Knowledge of marketing, business development and sales operations is a plus
  • Strong self-organization, planning, time management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong writing skills required
  • Ability to build strong relationships with media, customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to take individual initiative.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP PO process is a plus
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms, including Hubspot, Marketo, etc., is desirable
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent experience preferred

Working Conditions & Environment:

  • Overtime if required by work.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Professional office etiquette required at all times.
  • Physical requirements: sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, climbing ladders, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arm’s length, and lifting up to 50lbs.
