Marketing Automation Associate Manager Job at Wray Ward
The Marketing Automation Associate Manager is responsible for activating CRM and email marketing–related programs and campaigns as well as marketing automation tactics in conjunction with multichannel campaigns.
Key responsibilities also include creating basic contact strategies that connect clients’ marketing objectives to how they will build a relationship with their customers. The Marketing Automation Associate Manager will support the Marketing Automation Senior Manager with campaign setup, testing, scheduling and tracking to drive short-term and long-term results.
The Marketing Automation Associate Manager will have a working knowledge of marketing automation technologies and best practices spanning email development, deployment, reporting and optimization. The ideal candidate will also have a basic understanding of lead generation, demand waterfall and inbound marketing. HubSpot experience is preferred but not required.
This role will work closely with the Content Marketing Director, the Marketing Automation Senior Manager and other team leaders as dictated by project needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities as Marketing Automation Associate Manager
Launch and optimize email campaigns, including email template setup, campaign setup, testing, scheduling, tracking and measurement to drive short-term and long-term results
Activate digital marketing automation campaigns
Create contact strategies that connect marketing objectives to customer touch points
Measure campaign results and optimize lead nurturing workflows for segments
Carry out A/B testing on automated marketing campaigns to maximize results
Report on campaigns and make changes where necessary
Additional Responsibilities as a Member of the Connections Team
Activate marketing automation and email strategies as part of integrated Connections campaigns that include paid, owned, earned and shared media
Partner with digital media strategists, SEO experts, content strategists and creators to activate fully owned communication strategies and plans
Attend and actively participate in relevant team, agency and client meetings
Be a positive, motivating member of the team

Represent the team and Wray Ward in a positive manner in all endeavors

Qualifications
1–3 years of experience with marketing automation technologies, CRM and/or email marketing
Working knowledge of lead generation programs, email marketing best practices and inbound marketing
Understanding of demand waterfall and best practicesExperience in database management
Experience with Marketo
Highly organized, methodical and process-driven
Exceptional at problem-solving and conquering roadblocks
Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects at a time
Effective problem-solver and generator of creative, innovative solutions
Bachelor's degree
Must be Charlotte-based or willing to relocate
Ability to be onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
