Job Summary
The Commercial Marketing Associate supports the design, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns to achieve business goals. The Commercial Marketing Associate will work with the Marketing Managers to execute assist in the direct-response marketing campaigns, including test designs, list specifications, infrastructure set-up and auditing for traditional, digital, and nontraditional marketing tactics; as well as provide regular reporting to assess campaign/asset performance.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Campaign Set-up
• Support the backend of marketing campaigns to ready asset requirements for campaign/asset deployment
- Develop and document test designs and measurement plans for marketing campaigns/assets
- Request, test and approve all tracking codes, phone numbers and URLs to ensure test designs and measurement plans are in place prior to campaign launch
- Campaign Execution
• Assist the Marketing Managers in the process for campaign lead projections of in-market activities and expected lead volumes (calls, web visits, retail walk-ins, BRC’s)
- Coordinate with selected vendors to ensure campaigns are executed in an accurate and timely manner
- Perform print and data proofing and provide feedback and/or approval to vendors to execute campaigns
- Campaign Reporting and Analysis
• Use analytical tools to assist Marketing Managers and Senior Marketing Manager generate campaign performance analysis including channel/media/offer performance and campaign targeting model and tactic effectiveness - The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.
What You Must Have:
2+ years related work experience to include campaign management
Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience Marketing, Market Research, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
Working knowledge of database marketing, campaign management systems or related tools
Understanding of relational databases
Ability to perform backend campaign analysis (e.g. response rate calculations, lift estimation, ROI determination)
Positive attitude while working under tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail, process documentation, quality assurance/control and process improvement
Strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Windows software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
What We Would Prefer You Have:
Master’s degree
Understanding of inferential statistics (e.g. hypothesis/significance testing, sample size determination) and predictive analytics (e.g. rank ordering and model validations) from the perspective that these influence list selects and campaign performance
Experience working with healthcare data and/or working in a regulated industry
General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
