Overview:

We are searching for a talented and motivated Marketing Assiatant / Event Coordinator to help organize and execute a variety of events throughout the year, for and on behalf of Singer Equipment Company. You will be responsible for event preparation, execution, and evaluating success afterward, across multiple divisions and teams. As the event coordinator, you should be well-organized and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and attention to detail are vital in this role, as our success depends on exceeding expectations and constantly improving. The Event Coordinator will report to, and work closely with, the Brand Strategist.

This is a hybrid role that includes office time, work from home, and travel opportunities. Communication and coordination will always be at the forefront, with key responsibilities including communicating across multiple departments and divisions within the Singer family of companies, liaising with and maintaining relationships with vendor partners, and coordinating event schedules. Additional duties will range from the creative (planning and designing events) to the administrative (keeping records of promo/booth items, liaising with outside vendors regarding events/meetings) to the physical (transporting items to events, booth setup and breakdown).

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assist in all aspects of event preparation, setup, execution, and follow-up evaluation
  • Maintain internal calendar of events and trainings
  • Coordinate communication to trade partners, customers, and company stakeholders
  • Support additional marketing projects and efforts as requested.

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college in a business or communications related program but may consider some college and experience in lieu of degree
  • Two (2) or more years of recent relevant experience in marketing, event planning, or advertising preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
