Marine Fleet Dispatcher Job at Dann Marine Towing LC
Job Description
Responsibilities include:
- Dispatching of Dann Marine Towing vessels for their Gulf/East Coast operational areas,
- Direct communications with crew, customers, shore based staff and vendors.
- Process paperwork and maintain records,
- Coordinate travel arrangements for the crew.
- Answer overflow calls for a multi-line switchboard.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the local (East & Gulf Coasts and Harbors) operating area preferred
- Knowledge of marine transportation industry preferred.
- Excellent computer skills and experience working with scheduling software and Microsoft products.
- Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and also with a team.
Position works M-F 8am-5pm but also includes weekly/weekend on-call rotation. Excellent benefits and competitive salary. No relocation.
