The Manufacturing Warehouse Laborer is responsible for setting up and operating conventional machine tools and equipment used to customer specifications. Introduction to advanced print reading and inspection methodology. Inspect produced product using typical measuring equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machine tools and equipment used in production of Company products.
- Inspect and monitor the quality standards of powder production runs.
- Fill out and maintain all required documents including ISO and bar code accuracy.
- Produce quality product to customer specification
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the team lead, supervisor and/or production manager
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
- Must be able to train lower level skilled employees
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor, team lead or by production manager
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- A minimum of 6 months experience or proven ability to perform the job at this grade level
- Must be able to perform operations and take measurements, maintain specifications by observing process operations, is able to set up tools and fixtures with supervision
- Ability to ensure the product is defect-free and ready for the next step in the production process
- Must possess strong basic math skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy, results –driven approach
- Must read and comprehend procedures and complete documentation in English
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment, good communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check to ensure employment eligibility
