Our facility in Littleton, CO seeks an early career level Resource Planner to join our mission as a member of the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) group for the Production Planning & Control team within the Denver Center (MMC). You will be part of a team of material requirements/production planners collaborating with , Test, , Procurement, and shop leadership to ensure a steady flow of hardware through the metallic, composites, and additive processes. You will also participate in strategic initiatives that will impact all and planning organizations. To be successful you should be familiar with material requirements planning (MRP), have strong analytical problem-solving skills, and have experience with conflict resolution. This role will require you to be organized, have exceptional attention-to-detail, and be a self-starter.
Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will…
- Perform planning, execution, and maintenance of demand, and supply orders for assigned material
- Provide timely status of work products and/or problem identification and resolution as part of shop floor control efforts
- Coordinate and execute testing documentation and/or shipping documentation for material
- Coordinate PP&C interfaces with other stakeholders including the Centers, Inventory Operations, Program Master Scheduling, Quality Assurance, Transportation, and Procurement
- Present overall material and end item status to MMC management and customers and engage with Operations Planning leadership to ensure strategic goals and initiatives are progressing to plan
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of work in process and be able to effectively communicate status, issues and path forward plans to multiple levels of the organization as well as communicate schedule and cost performance data to program stakeholders
- Identify process improvements that will prove to reduce production cost and improve schedule performance

Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) theory and practices.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a Business, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline
Desired Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience in one or multiple of the following areas: Production Planning & Control, Inventory Management, Manufacturing/Production Operations, Procurement, Logistics, or General Management.
- Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system such as SAP and/or Experience working with Microsoft Project software.
- Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independent of direct supervision.
- Demonstrated formal or informal leadership experience.
- Proven ability to proactively identify and drive change.
- Demonstrated experience communicating/briefing executives, leaders, and customers.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $47,800 - $91,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
