SUMMARY of POSITION:

As a Manufacturing Prop customizer, you will perform a variety of propeller grinding processes to meet the production schedule at Mercury Racing.

PRIMARY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform repetitive propeller processing activities including boxing, grinding, hand sanding
• Perform operations using hand & power tools
• Perform all required activities in a safe and quality conscious manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working area in accordance with Procedures and Plant Safety Rules

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic, dependable and positive attitude
• Adaptable / flexible and able to perform with a sense of urgency
• Will be trained to weld, package, and on detail processes
• Experience / capable of sanding / manipulating metal to a detailed specification
• Willing & Capable of standing for long periods of time
• Willing & Capable of working in front of an industrial grinding machine
• Willing to work in an environment that requires the use of specific PPE including safety glasses / welding shield, hearing protection, gloves, leather apron, and metatarsal shoes
• Capable of performing work activities in a safe manner, following plant rules and PPE requirements
• Ability to perform all tasks independently with no direct supervision
• Quality mindset willing to communicate product quality issues / concerns
• High School education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in related field
• Understanding of LSS, ISO, & Safety methodologies / practices

Pay: $47,500.00 per year
