Luxium Solutions in Newbury, OH is hiring Manufacturing Technicians! A Manufacturing / Processing Technician can work in multiple departments including machine operation, casting, wrapping, and chemical reactions. This standard manufacturing position works a set 40 hour/week schedule with potential for overtime. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift positions are available. Personal Protective Equipment (shoes, glasses, etc.) is required.

All technicians are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (shoes, glasses, etc.), work a scheduled 40 hours per week, some overtime is available, follow all environmental, health, and safety policies and be willing to learn.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school graduate or equivalent is required. Experience in a manufacturing environment High school and/or college chemistry would be an advantage, but not required.
• Mathematical Skills: The applicant must possess the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. In addition, the applicant must possess the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and metric conversions.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job the individual may have to lift 60 pounds unassisted. Depending on the task, the individual will be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The ability to read and interpret blue prints and work instructions is required along with the ability to communicate effectively and use a computer.
