Essential Job Functions:

Ø Perform research, design and development of manufacturing processes associated with machined components, production flow, assembly methods and production equipment

Ø Improve manufacturing processes and methods for cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency

Ø Provide shop floor support to resolve daily process-related issues by working with product designers, method engineers, planners, supervisors and manufacturing staff

Ø Develop machining strategies and create milling and turning programs for CNC machines

Ø Design and implement manufacturing tools and fixtures for production

Ø Analyze ECN’s (Engineering Change Notices) impact to operations including material in stock, work in process, and work outsourced to suppliers

Ø Analyze and develop costing & manufacturing models for new business programs

Ø Generate manufacturing assembly documentation and provide direct support of personnel in the day-to-day execution of the manufacturing, inspection and test operations

Job Qualification Requirements:

Ø Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, Systems, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering

Ø Proficiency in CAD (prefer Solid Edge) to design manufacturing tools and fixtures

Ø Fundamental knowledge of lean manufacturing production principles and techniques

Ø Experience in MS office products: Word, Excel & PowerPoint

Ø ERP experience preferred

Ø 5 years of experience

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Pay: $86,985.00 - $96,224.00 per year
