We are currently seeking to add an ENTRY-LEVEL

Full-Time, Manual Machinist Operator-1st Shift

Founded in 1987 and located in Contoocook New Hampshire just west of Concord NH.

We are a precision sheet metal fabrication and CNC machining one-stop-shop. A leader in rapid prototyping and short-run production, we have two facilities located in Contoocook-New Hampshire as well as additional facilities in California, Wisconsin, Colorado and Pennsylvania. Our other facilities combine sheet metal fabrication, CNC and high-precision machining manufacturing, high-precision machining of various metals and plastics, along with multiple capabilities in electro-mechanical assembly and continuous manufacturing. We also newly offer digital manufacturing, as well as offering a diverse array of additive manufacturing technologies for both prototyping and production applications.

Job Responsibilities will include:

• This position is responsible for operating the Knee Mill a vertical milling machine.
• Work in a safe manner at all times, following established policies and procedures.
• Assist in other areas of manufacturing as we are a team environment.

Job Qualifications/Experience & Technical Skills Required:

• Must be capable of reading blueprints and all relevant measuring tools.
• Work under the general direction of the department supervisor with a minimum of supervision.
• Perform light secondary deburring, cleaning, grinding, and straightening of parts. Perform drilling, cutting, tapping, buffing, press work and simple machining.
• Transfer material and parts from one location to another.
• Maintain work area neat and in an orderly condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
• Report defective material, any unusual condition or circumstance to supervisor.
• Responsible for the quality and adequacy of own work.
• Continual focus mentally and visually during machining process.
• This position requires standing between 8-10 hours per day as well as the ability to lift and maneuver 10-40 lbs throughout the day.
