We are looking for a Manual Machinist to join our team. In this position, you will help us create tools and other components using a variety of equipment, such as a lathe, a drill press, a micrometer, and grinding machines.
Manual Machinist Duties and Responsibilities
- Read blueprints to determine what equipment and materials are necessary for the job
- Follow the blueprints to create the appropriate tools and components
- Operate your machines to grind, cut, and polish the materials
- Finish projects using manual tools
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure they remain in good working order
