SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsible for developing and cultivating an industry leading culture that drives continuous improvement in the areas of physical security and loss prevention.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the development, implementation and continuous refinement of physical and facilities security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Develops and implements security policies and procedures for all areas of the company, and monitors compliance with these policies.
  • Oversees security and risk assessments of all facilities and provides a summary of identified areas of needed improvement to facilities and senior management.
  • Plans, organizes, and conducts inventory counts, and reports on those counts, to ensure inventory security controls are in line with company policies and operational objectives
  • Designs and implements effective metrics to track progress, proactively identify areas of concern and drive accountability.
  • Regularly inspects company facilities to identify security and loss risks. Drafts audit reports to document inspection findings.
  • Manages services including - but not limited to – alarm monitoring, access control, CCTV, incident detection and mitigation.
  • Coordinates development and delivery of security communications and awareness.
  • Reports unsafe work practices or behaviors and works with management to eliminate the same in a timely manner.
  • Maintains relationships with state, local and federal law enforcement agencies.
  • Conducts internal investigations and prepares reports detailing violations of regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Participates in proactive crisis management planning and crisis response
  • Oversees security planning and coverage for major events.
  • Advises senior management on all matters related to security.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS :
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or extensive work experience in Business Administration, Finance, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, or closely related field preferred. Law Enforcement or Security management experience strongly preferred.
  • Extensive computer skills that include Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Well organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Impeccable ethical standards and integrity
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
:
  • This job requires the applicant to be able to lift 50 pounds (5 to 30 pounds repetitively). Physically stand, walk, bend, stoop, and be able to move weighted products as required
  • Physically able to conduct inspections of company facilities and operate equipment necessary to perform inspections and inventories
  • Ability to travel frequently to company facilities with some overnight stay.
