Starting Salary beginning at $144,900.00, based on experience

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Supervises an Operations support staff to achieve consistently high levels of performance in the area of plant operations. Is responsible for managing programs owned by Operations, department procedures including applicable owners group initiatives and supervising an operations support staff consisting of the work execution supervisors, clearance and tagging group, FIN group and outage SRO planner (dual unit) as well as other functions that are necessary to support effective operation. Routinely interfaces with site counterparts and industry peers to ensure continuous improvement.



PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Supervise an operations support staff consisting of the work execution supervisors and clearance and tagging group. Accountable for the following: � Ensuring scheduled work can be accomplished within the bounds of Technical Specifications and other regulations. � Directs staff of planning support personnel responsible for Operations scheduling and Clearance and Tagging preparation for both online maintenance and planned outages. � Maintain ongoing responsibility for ensuring operational needs are satisfied through the work control process, by establishing work priorities for daily, outage, and emergent work. (70%)
  • Provide oversight of FIN supervisor and FIN group to ensure priorities are supported and aligned with operational needs (10%)
  • Periodically assess the effectiveness of plant Operations. (10%)
  • Provide oversight and support of the Operations Outage SRO Planner as required (10%)


JOB SCOPE

  • This individual must be able to interface with industry and Peers to establish and enforce standard Operation processes and procedures. The primary role of this position is to create consistent and improved performance in plant Operations at the site by effectively managing a support staff. (This person may be the Senior License Holder of the site.)

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current or previous SRO License
  • BS in Technical discipline with a minimum of three years license holder experience OR
  • Associates degree with 10 years directly applicable with 5 years supervisory experience OR
  • High School diploma with 12 years directly applicable experience with 5 years supervisor experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Active SRO license in the Senior License Holder for the site
  • Working knowledge of procedure writing and Capco process
