The McCoy Transportation Group (Foodliner & Quest Liner) has an opening for a Manager of Business Analysis. This role would provide leadership for the company's data analytics function and collaborate with the CFO, Controller, and business unit leaders to develop and report on key performance indicators as well as participate in process improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Primary focus is utilizing technology develop solutions to solve and enhance the transportation companies internal and customer facing processes.
• Candidate should be focused on bringing innovative ideas to the transportation company to ensure we are the leader in innovation and use of new and existing technologies.
• Managing the operational technology used by the Transportation group, including tractor and trailer technology and data analytics tools
• Managing team of direct reports responsible for the business units’ technology training, support, and researching new functionality
• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
• Staying current on the latest IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
• Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
• Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance for direct reports
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
• Performing testing and evaluation of new technology
• Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance
• Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements
• Serving as a liaison between IT group and user group
• Participate in process quality improvement activities and program certification
• Travel as needed, estimated at 10%

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Business/IT or related field or an MBA is preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
• Advanced technical skills with exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Superior computer skills, especially proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SQ
• Experience with data visualization software, Tableau is preferred
• Must have experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
• Must have experience leading and developing top-performing teams
