The Duxbury Public Schools is seeking to hire a Manager of Accountability and Measurement.

FUNCTION: Duxbury Public Schools is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to fill the role of Manager of Accountability and Measurement The right candidate will have a variety of skills in end-user support including Follett Aspen SIS, Frontline, Vector Solutions and other school-related data system applications.


JOB GOALS:

  • To provide technical, administrative, and support expertise to maintain the data information systems and software of the Duxbury Public Schools
  • To function as the primary analyst, manager, and report writer for all district data
  • To support the development and coordination of the operations of all information management system activities
  • To ensure the integrity of the school district data
  • To ensure that all forms of data are accurate, accessible, and easy to interpret
  • To assist in building structures and capacity to improve decision-making, outcomes, teaching, and learning


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure and maintain electronic transfers between internal systems and external third-party services, data suppliers, and regulatory agencies
  • Collaborate with District Technology Team to oversee core data systems, including Follett Aspen, Vector Solutions, Frontline, AnalyticVue, LinkIt!, Apptegy and other databases
  • Facilitate the accurate transmission of this data for state and federal reporting outlined annually in the Commissioner of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Superintendents Checklist (Data & Finance subsection) (including but not limited to SIMS, EPIMS, SCS, SSDR, and CRDC)
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding process for district staff
  • Provide professional development to staff and administrators on accessing and analyzing data to improve teaching and learning
  • Support district staff with attendance recording, grade book, creating schedules and conduct referrals
  • Work with the Data Team to audit and prepare records for MA DESE Security Portal / Reporting System
  • Make rubric and standard adjustments as requested by curriculum, instruction, and assessment leads
  • Building and editing custom reports from Aspen as needed
  • Assist families with their Aspen portal accounts and online registration and forms
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, or improve applications and systems; develop and present recommendations as appropriate
  • Maintain confidentiality of staff and student records
  • Interact effectively with school staff, administrators, parents, vendors, and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
  • Respond and resolve helpdesk calls and tickets


DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education:
    • Associate's Degree in IT/Information systems or related field (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
  • Experience working in a public school environment preferred.


SALARY/WORK YEAR/BENEFITS

  • Full-Time Non-Union 12-month position.
  • Hours 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Competitive salary
