Reporting to Vice President of Application Development and Data Analytics, the role is responsible for leading, planning, executing and measuring all data management activities for internal and external reporting and project-based activities, ensuring focus on data integrity, validity, reliability in accordance with standard processes, external partners guidelines, industry best practices and regulatory standards. Act as coach, mentor and/or Subject Matter Expert for the Data Analytics team, while assisting in process improvements, issue escalation, training, development and delivery. Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for clients and support the department and company in achieving objectives and strategic goals. The Data Manager must manage many simultaneous projects and work closely with functional owners to develop a deep understanding of business needs, build, and deliver reports.

• Strong experience designing, deploying, and managing reports using Microsoft Reporting Services platform (SSRS), Microsoft SQL, MS Excel, pivot tables, other tools.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and experience designing and implementing data models for applications and/or reporting
• Deep understanding of RDBMS with advanced and competent SQL skills, including Microsoft SQL, Postgre SQL, SSRS, Stored Procedures and Snowflake
• Knowledge of standards and best practices used in conjunction with developing reports and dashboards using SSRS
• Proven analytical and problem-solving techniques, attention to detail, data presentation and visualization and project management skills
• Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas, proposals, and recommendations.
• Previous management experience in the healthcare, pharmacy, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH regulations.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• BS degree in Business, Healthcare Information/Informatics, Economics, Statistics, Information Management with 7-10 years of equivalent experience.

• Serve as the Data and Analytics Lead supporting all business units with an extreme focus on data; its quality, integrity and reliability to report on
• Demonstrate leadership with cross-functional teams and projects throughout the business including but not limited to Operations, Finance, Sales and IT to coordinate efforts in data centralization and reporting best practices
• Manages the day-to-day delivery of internal and external reports, including manual and automated delivery, report restatements and ad-hoc reporting
• Lead, train, motivate and develop a team of data analysts responsible for report development and deliver
• Develops measures and tolls to track and report team performance and adherence to the timeliness and accuracy of report delivery
• Acts as a single point of contact (SPOC) and Subject Matter Expert for the department
• Manage project resources within expected timeframes.
• Leads in data gathering sessions with internal and external customers for new and revised projects
• Partner with Executives, Finance and Operations to understand business analytics needs
• Create, review, test and troubleshoot advanced SQL queries and stored procedures.
