Overview:
This position is responsible for providing strategic leadership as well as oversight of day to day operations for The Caring House. Including effective management of clinical systems, human resources, financial management, and environmental management. Promotes collaborative practice with other HH departments, physicians, community organizations, and exhibits the ability to work with others to find solutions to difficult human, technical, or administrative problems. Must be able to adjust to and lead others through change. As a clinician, evaluates patients and families to provide therapeutic, developmentally appropriate interventions.
Qualifications:

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required

Education Required:
Master’s required. Have background in counseling or psychosocial support with appropriate degrees in child life, psychology, counseling, social work, or a health related area.

Education Preferred:
Advanced degree in child life, psychology, counseling, social work, or a health related area.Advanced degree in child life, psychology, counseling, social work, or a health related area.

Experience:
Have a minimum of 5 year experience in clinical work or the equivalent in education and experience.

Additional Skills/Abilities:
Must have valid Alabama driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
Possess a high level of written and oral communication skills with a thorough knowledge of the dynamics of grief and bereavement.
Must be a good public speaker.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
