Role Summary

MetaPhase is seeking a Junior Management Consultant with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience to be a part of a federal team supporting the Office of Strategy, Policy and Plans (SPP) within the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). This team works closely together to provide change management support for CISA organizational transformation related activities including program management support, robust governance processes, technical writing, and task management.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support internal process, structure, and standards to ensure more streamlined material production across the team.
• Work with senior-level stakeholders to intake complex concepts and solutions and translate them into multiple types of documents, including but not limited to: plans, requirements, diagrams, operating procedures, and reports.
• Apply problem-solving skills to create value and improve business strategy, internal processes, and performance.
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
• Provide enterprise policy recommendations and advice to be consumed by senior leaders.

What We Need From You (Required)

• This position requires DHS clearance “suitability - Public Trust.
• US Citizenship is required (no exceptions)
• 1+ years of direct experience in crafting written materials and translating complex information into plain language
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to build relationships, connect people, support team members, and produce high quality products.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Adobe, and other relevant tools with strong research experience

Bonus Points (Desired)

• Federal consulting experience preferred
• Experience at DHS - Department of Homeland Security is highly preferred
• Experience and knowledge of policy document’s structure and content within the Federal government (DHS experience preferred); particularly for management controls, and management support services (e.g., human resources, administrative services, audits, etc.) is a strong plus.
• US DOD SECRET Clearance is preferred

Minimum bachelor’s degree in public policy, communications or public affairs, English, business and administration or related field (Masters highly preferred)
