The
Maintenance Worker II (Satellite Campuses) is responsible for maintaining and servicing utilities and providing maintenance necessary for the care of the KKI Satellite campuses. This staff member is considered to be an essential employee and is expected to report to work during weather emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and organization of all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) requirements with the KKI Satellite campuses.
- Maintain and ensure work is completed in a professional manner according to applicable building code, Joint Commission, CARF or Institute standards.
- Provide general preventive, routine and emergency maintenance to all properties including, overhead lights, exit signs, receptacles, smoke detectors, emergency lights, etc.
- Handles and manipulates plumbing, electrical and general maintenance tools and equipment (i.e., hammers, screw drivers, wrenches, electrical testing equipment, ladders, saws, etc…).
- Inspect, as needed all non-clinical electrical equipment brought inside for use (i.e. coffee makers, toasters, etc…)
- Make trips in the maintenance vehicles as required and keeps the Assistant Vice President advised of any vehicle damages or repairs. Maintain a clean interior of vehicle.
- Help move departments as required.
- Attends all necessary training and staff meetings.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Must have 1-2 years’ experience in general maintenance work.
- Additional experience in plumbing, electrical, painting and/or housekeeping preferred.
