Overview: The purpose of the Maintenance Technician I position is to maintain, set-up, troubleshoot, operate and perform preventative maintenance functions on various production process equipment.
Responsibilities:

  • Performs mechanical tasks and maintenance on production equipment.
  • Performs daily troubleshooting functions and repairs.
  • Operates machines if needed.
  • Changes over equipment to meet production requirements.
  • Performs production equipment/process troubleshooting and repair.
  • Demonstrates basic understanding of electronic and pneumatic circuitry.
  • Participates and works within ISO 9001 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals.
  • Others may be assigned.

Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to operate, activate, use, inspect, place, detect, and retrieve. Employee will also often be required to move or traverse to, ascend/descend, work atop, communicate, and convey. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and distance vision.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
