This position is responsible for the maintenance, health & safety and operation of the Tennis Facility which includes a total of 12 tennis courts, two 5 court bubbles, storage containers, fencing, screens, lighting systems and surrounding outdoor areas. Also, maintenance of the areas within the main clubhouse including the reception area, Pro Shop, restrooms, locker rooms, lounges and seating areas, classrooms, meeting rooms, office space, kitchen. Maintains all equipment used to maintain courts, along with all other machinery and tools used to keep the facility in top condition. Must be reliable, responsible, and able to respond to emergency situations on short notice.

Duties:

• Assist the Lead Maintenance Technician as required. Maintenance upkeep, monitoring, inspections to maintain a safe environment for building all systems in respect to HVAC, Fire Safety, Security, Sprinkler, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Locksmith, etc. and notification of required vendor escalation if needed to Director of Facilities as required.
• Assist Maintenance and repair of all aspects of tennis court bubble(s), monitoring mechanical equipment, etc.
• Assist Maintenance and repair of all aspects of the Tennis Courts and Building Facilities, as assigned.
• Assist Maintenance and repair of all nets, fencing, and gates, etc. as directed.
• Assist Maintenance of the Grounds as required – IE. Pressure washing, blowing, maintenance, etc.
• Janitorial Duties – Interior & Exterior as assigned.
• Ability to take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Must be able to understand and report any incidents to the proper authorities i.e., Maintenance Technician, NYPD, Facilities Director, Operations, etc.
• Set-Up, Breakdown and Maintenance required for all location Events on a calendar basis and be available for additional hours as required.
• Responds to Facility Emergencies 24/7 as required.
• Must be available for all Snow Emergencies to provide a safe facility (Mandatory)
• Work Order completion of all work - Disposition as required.

Performs preventive maintenance and repair duties as follows:

• Assist with Daily, Monthly & Quarterly oversight of all operating systems as assigned.
• Assisting with replacing parts and performing other minor repair duties to keep machines in operating condition.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of walking & standing
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into areas as required.
• Must be able to lift - up to 50 lbs.
