Maintenance Technician

The Best Rentals, Inc Charleston’s fastest-growing vacation rental company is seeking driven, high-performing maintenance professionals based out of Folly & Edisto Island. Our successful applicant for the Maintenance Technician role will understand the importance of high-quality customer service and craftsmanship. General knowledge of plumbing, house electrical, carpentry, and home maintenance is important.

Specific Responsibilities for Maintenance Technicians

• Complete small to medium repairs, remodeling, and home improvement projects

• Communicate with all concerned departments about pending repairs

• Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary equipment

• Keep records of all work performed

• Keep company vehicles and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition

• Complete invoices, work orders tracking forms, and weekly reports as required

• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Job Requirements for Maintenance Technicians

• Experience in home maintenance/repair and remodeling

• Proficiency to navigate cloud-based technology

• Team player who can work independently

• SC Drivers License

• Stable work history

• Ability to work weekends. (Mandatory)

• Will be required to run “On Call” after-hours support

• Use hands to lift, carry, or pull objects up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to climb stairs to access all properties

• Ability to manage time wisely with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
