Job Description

We are looking for an honest and positive person to work with a team to maintain the day-to-day operations and to assume responsibility for maintaining the physical assets of the property under the direction of the Property/Operations Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the completion & rebuild of all machines (scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inclusive of servo motors, hydraulics, high pressure lines, electrical and pneumatic functions).

Work with and Train operators on Preventative Maintenance and calibration functions at Machine Center.

• Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program" for each machine on the shop floor.
• Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
• Work with team to monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
• Responsible for alerting the Operations Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.
• Ensure compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
• Special projects and other responsibilities around facility as may be determined.
• Keep inventory of all back up parts needed for equipment, get quotes and order when low.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Possess a high work ethic, moral and personal integrity and honesty.
• Be able to effectively communicate with others.
• Be able to function independently yet be an effective team member.
• Strong mechanical aptitude required

Preferred Skills:

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Requirements

• This job requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
