Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a full-time energetic individual who can wear multiple hats, looks outside the box, likes to have fun at work, and has excellent attention to detail. Duties include but not limited to:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Setup, schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance on all production equipment

• Troubleshooting skills in mechanical, pneumatic and electrical equipment

• Must have good organizational skills

• Able to perform basic facilities maintenance including plumbing, lighting and grounds keeper

• Familiar with 5S strategies

• Keep all production equipment running 3 shift operations

• Overall plant cleanliness

• Inventory of equipment parts

• Coordinate contractors for building maintenance and ensure work is completed to satisfaction

• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Basic math skills

• Mechanical aptitude

• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

• Problem solving/troubleshooting skills

• Good communication skills

• Team player

• Two-year associate degree in maintenance or equivalent; or a minimum of 1-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting coupled with building maintenance
