Southern Dunes is seeking a full-time, Maintenance Technician to join the team at their 384 unit Community on the Southeast side of Indianapolis at Southport and SR 37. We will consider both entry level and experienced applicants. Our primary is concern is your capacity to learn, your attitude, your dedication and attendance, and your ability to work with a team to achieve common goals.

The primary requirements of this position are:

• Performing service requests from residents quickly and efficiently
• Working with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain a turning schedule
• Punch-out apartments based on the schedule of move-ins
• Painting
• Picking up trash and debris on the grounds of the property to ensure positive curb appeal at all times
• Light landscaping care such as pulling weeds, identifying dead plant life, watering flowers
• Some apartment turns tasks such as painting or light carpentry and cleaning.
• Ability to communicate effectively with office and maintenance staff about what is needed for the property as well as take direction on tasks required
• Ability to be on-call for emergencies and snow removal

This position is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position. Sheehan Property Management offers competitive full-time employee benefits.

• We pay 5 regular hours just to be on call for the week.
• We pay a minimum of 2 hours for any emergency call you have to respond to + travel time if you don't live on site.
