Position Description: Responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on our gondola. Installs, maintains, inspects and documents all work done on the mechanical systems. Will also assist the Maintenance Team with various project work that could include but is not limited to assisting with construction and maintenance of park attractions and facilities, ride inspections and maintain GCAP vehicles.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Outstanding Guest Service.
• 2 years previous experience maintaining detachable lifts.
• Knowledge of the Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board.
• Work with Maintenance, Gondola & Transportation leadership to ensure all documentation, scheduled and unscheduled gondola maintenance is complete and up to date.
• Basic knowledge and experience of mechanics, building/construction, pneumatics and minor electrical skills.
• Ability to read, comprehend, document maintenance or inspection documents and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license, 18 years of age and high school diploma or GED.
• Listen to and follow direction accurately.
• Previous experience in property maintenance and/or heavy machinery preferred.
• Strong focus on safety procedures.
• Ability to work at heights to work on tram towers or various attractions.
• Critical thinking skills to work through various issues that arise.
• Ability to trouble shoot effectively in the presence of guests and co-workers.
• Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by your supervisor.
• Must be familiar with what is offered in different areas of the park, including guest services, rides, shops, games and food, in order to direct our guests.
• Must be patient, poised and able to cope with special situations.
• Courtesy, alertness, a positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly are necessary.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to interpret both written & verbal instructions.
