Job Details:
Angel Fire Resort is seeking a Maintenance Level 2 Technician. This position provides high level maintenance and repair to all assigned areas of the resort. The job will also consist of snow removal, picking up trash, and custodial functions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assists in the training of Level 1 Technicians.
  • Performs routine troubleshooting, repairs and adjustments of locks, cabinets, desks, closets, hinges, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning units, appliances, kitchen, and equipment.
  • Reports mechanical malfunctions to appropriated person for action.
  • Prepares and cleans work areas as directed by the Supervisor or Level 3 Technician.
  • Helps with other departments as needed.
  • Completes all tasks as regulated by State and Federal environmental standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Moves and assists in moving of furniture and equipment.
  • Cleans internal areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping and washing windows
  • Performs painting tasks.
  • Empties trash cans, consolidates trash and takes trash to the transfer station.
  • Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.
  • Cuts grass and trims weeds on the property.
  • Drives resort vehicles.
  • Completes tasks and projects relating to ground maintenance and landscaping of resort property.
  • Follows existing quality standards, guidelines, and operational efficiencies.
  • Performs snow removal and salting of walkways.
  • Changes light bulbs, utilizing ladders when necessary.
  • Under the direction and supervision of a Technician Level 3 or a supervisor: performs maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at all facilities/sites including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, glazier, and masonry.
  • Under the direction and supervision of a Technician Level 3 or a supervisor: Repairs and treats structures such as floors, showers, sinks, walls, roofs, and carpets.
  • Exercises discretion in identifying projects requiring the services of a higher skilled crafts person.
  • Under the direction and supervision of a Technician Level 3 or a supervisor: Performs installation tasks including plumbing, minor electrical, glazier, and carpentry.
  • Maintains performance that results in high guest satisfaction, including internal customer satisfaction.
  • Works with a sense of urgency and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Assists in the preparation of daily maintenance logs and completion of work orders.
  • Performs administrative tasks as assigned. May include filing, updating spreadsheets, ordering supplies, and entering data.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and four or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, days/nights/weekends/holidays.
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Ability to drive trucks
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions for extended periods of time.
