Our optical lab is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our growing manufacturing operation.
Shift: 2nd (Sundays-Thursdays, 4:00pm - 12:30am) Nice weekend hours off!
10% shift differential added to base pay PLUS bi-weekly bonus opportunities, great PTO plan and benefits!
This is an opportunity to lead a small crew with your knowledge, experience and leadership abilities in our expanding manufacturing operation.
Expert Maintenance Technician responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the optical manufacturing lab, acting with oversight in a team Lead role.
- Maintains Preventative Maintenance log on all equipment, weekly PM maintenance checklists, machine checklists
- Communicates as needed to fix various machines
- Services and maintains CNC Edgers, CNC Generators, calibrations
- Maintains Blocker, performs weekly checks for prism and axis
- Shares ideas to improve production or quality
- Follows company's Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, suggests safety measures
- Suggests procedural changes to improve department efficiency
- Leads associates by ensuring they are staying on task and in the proper place for optimal workflow
- Trains associates according to direction from the Maintenance Supervisor
- Performs other tasks and lead functions as assigned
- Associate's Degree/Technical School Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years experience in the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of complex equipment and industrial equipment (Electronics, CNC type equipment preferred)
- Proven troubleshooting skills on complex equipment
- Experience working with PLC's, programming
- Experience in a Lead role, with oversight of maintenance techs and work functions
- Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical/electronic diagrams required
- Optical manufacturing experience preferred
- Must be able to read and write English
