Job Summary for the Maintenance Supervisor is to perform maintenance duties which include troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment, making repairs and modifications, performing preventative maintenance, installing new equipment, and taking care of anything else that needs servicing on the company property.

Responsibilities include:

-Read & comprehend machine or machine related drawings and technical information and analyze malfunctions

-Report for overtime or call-in assignments as required to support production

-Provide recommendations for modifications to equipment or process to Plant Manager

-Repair issues w/equipment and building

-Prepares and manages a maintenance budget for the facility

-Coordinates negotiations for outside contractors and ensure work is completed as scheduled

-Establish a continuing preventative maintenance program and preform preventative maintenance duties

-Maintain a clean, safe work environment

-Maintain physical system of plant, such as air compressor, welding equipment, etc.

-Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned

-Order and replace broken parts, equipment and tools as necessary

-Set up crib

-Knowledge of Health, Safety and OSHA Regulations

Required Skills/Abilities

-Must have demonstrated electrical, mechanical, and machine repair ability

-Must be able to operate a variety of industrial tools

-Must take applicable safe4ty training such as Lock out/Tag out, forklift, etc.

-Must be detail oriented and mechanically inclined.

-Must be neat and well organized

-Possess excellent communication skills, motivated and a self starter. Good problem solving ability and be detail oriented.

-Minimum of 5 years manufacturing maintenance experience required

-Technical and/or vocational training helpful but not required
