Country Pure Foods, is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in Akron, OH. $1,500 sign on bonus!

As a Maintenance Supervisor, the primary focus will be to increase the efficiencies and overall, throughput of the production equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor assists the Maintenance Manager in the supervision and coordination of activities of workers engaged in setting up, repairing, and maintaining equipment and inventory.

Country Pure is one of the largest suppliers of portioned and multi-serve juices, plant-based beverages, and frozen novelties. They help their customers with numerous beverage and frozen novelty solutions across various channels in foodservice, retail, and co-pack markets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists the Maintenance Manager directing workers in the maintenance and repair of plant operational systems, including refrigeration, electrical, air and piping, PLC, filling, packaging and support equipment
• Lead workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment
• Repair or replace defective parts and lubricates and cleans parts as needed in accordance with food/beverage manufacturing quality system practices
• Review work orders to determine schedules, sequences, and assignments of work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel
• Observes safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions

Job Requirements:

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two- year college or technical school; or minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Self-starter who can independently accomplish tasks; proactive, flexible and takes initiative
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Occasionally required to stand and walk. Must occasionally life and/or move up to 50 pounds
