Primary Purpose:
The Planning & Scheduling Supervisor will work closely with Maintenance Management/Supervisors, Operations, Marine, HSSE, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Warehousing and is expected to supervise and provide leadership and direction to company and contract planners and schedulers, continuously oversee and facilitate proper creation of work plans for execution during daily maintenance across the facility to meet all operational department goals. Supervisor should have a complete understanding of all aspects of planning and scheduling of maintenance activities and the ability to develop both long-term and short-term schedules including corrective & preventative maintenance work that meets equipment requirements based upon O&M manuals, Reliability Centered Maintenance, and other specific facility needs. Ensure Risk Assessment Analysis is applied to all work plans before planning and scheduling work. Execution must include technical and safety procedures, recognized standards and industry practices and company policies. Provide strong leadership for direct reports, reports and updates to management through regularly scheduled meetings.

This position has weekend work requirements and call out responsibilities and will be located in Hackberry Louisiana. Employees’ primary residence must be located within a one-hour drive from the Hackberry plant site. This measure will assure that response time for callouts is kept to a minimum, which increases the safety of our employees in an unexpected or emergent situation.
Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures direct reports plan and schedule maintenance work according to Cameron LNG, Maintenance Manual and Work Management process and procedures.
  • Manages and lead strategic and tactical planning meetings, such as Operations-Maintenance meetings, weekly planning/schedule review meetings, backlog review meetings, among others.
  • Development of required maintenance budget. Ensures direct reports effectively adhere to business controls, approved contracts/suppliers and direct/indirect cost are captured in a work order approval process to effectively monitor and control maintenance budget expenditure.
  • Functions as maintenance focal representative who balances operational plant requirements to achieve optimum plant availability with minimum adverse impact to the maintenance scheduled work.
  • Supports development of asset Maintenance Key Performance Indicators to identify Non-Compliance root causes and resolution.
  • Conducts planning, scheduling and execution workflow and processes audits. Introduces best practices aimed to improving planning and scheduling efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Supports and develops direct reports through competency assessments and skills development training.
  • Monitor direct reports individual performances. Provide informal mentoring and instruction, conduct annual performance reviews. Holds individuals accountable for performance and behavior.
  • Ensures direct reports monitor contractor work execution, completion, and demobilization according to contractor management procedures. Manage contractor work quality/non-compliances along with contract teams.

Qualifications:*

Education:*

  • Minimum a high school diploma or GED. Technical degree, or a nationally recognized standard (such as NCCER) is preferred.

Experience:*

Required:*

  • Minimum ten (10) years of maintenance work experience in Oil and Gas, LNG, or petrochemical facilities.
  • Minimum eight (8) years Maintenance Planning & Scheduling experience
  • At least three (3) years must be at a supervisory level.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Planning, Scheduling and Execution processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of SAP, familiar with PM, MM Modules.
  • Turnaround planning experience is a plus.

  • Experience in Liquefied Natural Gas or Natural Gas processing, or
  • Experience with cryogenic storage, specifically LNG
  • Experience in CMMS systems preferably SAP, Prometheus software, Pyrus (accounts payables), Primavera for scheduling, Open Text, Power BI
  • Conflict management
  • Awareness of regulatory requirements: FERC, PHMSA, USCG requirements as applicable
  • Cyber security awareness / Computer based training / SDS
  • Work flow mapping / RACI charts / MOC / Hurricane awareness / Work packs / 80/20 rule / Quality

Physical Requirements:*

Must be able to stand, walk, climb, run, sit, kneel, twist, bend, pull, push, carry, lift, reach overhead and drive. Most activities involve movement of either the upper and lower body extremities or both and the joints associated with these areas of the body.

  • Must be able to enter confined spaces.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders that ranges from 4 ft to 200 ft.
  • Must be able to lift equipment needed to perform work.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment such as safety harness, respirator and other protective equipment as needed to perform job.
  • Must be willing to be on call, work overtime as required and handle emergency response responsibilities, Hurricane support or ride outs.
  • Must be willing to travel for trainings and meetings as required.
  • Manage company expenses and transportation, able to drive side by side buggies
