First-Line Supervisors of Mechanics, Installers, and Repairers
Experience and Skills:
- Completion of an approved apprenticeship program for multiple trades and one year of appropriate experience or a high school diploma and five years of appropriate experience.
- Appropriate vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions, work independently and get along with others.
- The successful candidate should be proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, using a computerized maintenance management system, setting up a preventative maintenance schedule and demonstrating the proper use of all equipment repaired.
- Vocational/technical school or other industry approved training certification in auto repair and small engine repair.
Job duties:
- Under the supervision of the Campus Landscape Coordinator, the individual will be responsible for maintaining and repairing outdoor power equipment and conducting preventative maintenance and repair of other physical plant trades vehicles.
- Works on general landscape maintenance around the campus.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.67 per hour
