SUMMARY: Responsible for repairing and maintaining all HVAC equipment on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

- Maintain all aspects of HVAC at all locations

- Maintain all aspects of refrigeration (IE: Ice machines, walk-ins, kitchen equipment)

- Ensure all pieces of equipment are safe and operational

- If emergency occurs, pinpoint, isolate, and assist in any way possible

- Carry out daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual inspections

- Be a support team member for all other departments

- All other duties assigned by manager.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: (Level 3) High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: (Level 3) Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: (Level 1) Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY: (Level 2) Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

· Valid Tennessee Driver’s License or ability to obtain one with 30 days of employment

· EPA Certification

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience

· Must be able to travel 60% of the time.

· Requires good negotiation and listening skills.

· Ability to act independently with little supervision.

· Efficiently handle multiple duties.

· Requires a good understanding of company policies and procedures.

· Working knowledge of resort amenities, room designs, and general knowledge.

· Good attendance and punctual.

· Exhibits professionalism.

· Exhibits good grooming habits.

· Wears the proper uniform.

· Works efficiently.

· Follows all resort and office policies and standard operating procedures.

· Conducts themselves in a professional manner with a positive attitude.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Regularly work near moving mechanical parts

· Occasionally work in high precarious places, exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, work in outdoor weather conditions, work with risk of electrical shock and work with vibration

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
