The working environment you can expect:
These positions are located on Eielson AFB, however, the incumbents will work out of a utility vehicle most of the workday, providing maintenance and repairs as required. Depending on the project, the incumbents will work independently or as part of a team.
Who we are looking for:
To be successful in these positions, a candidate will need the following core competencies:
- Ability to perform duties utilizing prior training and/or experience in a variety of maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of the safe and proper use and care of tools common to equipment and building maintenance
- Complete required written reports such as incident reports, material requests and timesheets
- Ability to apply and follow limited verbal and written instruction
- We would prefer strong knowledge in HVAC systems and DDC systems, but not a requirement

- These positions require frequent travel within the State (normally one trip of up to 3 days in length occurring monthly.
