About the position:

The Maintenance I person is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the physical plant. Conducting under supervisor direction, preventive maintenance, routine servicing, seasonal repairs, and changes, building equipment and plumbing repairs.

Qualifications:

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Special Boiler License and pool certification required.
• Other certifications relevant to the job duties and responsibilities which must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Technical schooling in related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of increasing responsibilities and experience in troubleshooting boilers and plant operations equipment in a complex commercial, industrial or healthcare setting.
• Must be knowledgeable in troubleshooting, repairing, replacing and testing of various pumps, boilers, HVAC, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Basic understanding of state and national codes pertaining to boiler systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits on HVAC control systems.
• Computer proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Trillium Woods is a LCS Community, compliance with the LCS COVID-19 Policy is required for this position as it is for all LCS Community positions.
