Salary: $15 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to Clean Desk
Job Description:
Our company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mailroom/Scan QC Associate to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing and delivery of all incoming and outgoing mail and packages, as well as conducting quality checks on scanned documents.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate recipients
- Process outgoing mail and packages, including preparing and affixing postage and labels
- Checking scanned images or documents for accuracy, completeness, and legibility.
- Conduct quality checks on scanned documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Respond to inquiries regarding mail and package deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of mail and package deliveries
- Operate mailroom equipment, including postage meters, mail scales, and mail carts
- Ensure that the scanned images are correctly oriented and properly cropped

Responsible for identifying and resolving issues that arise during the scanning process, such as paper jams, misfeeds, or scanner malfunctions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a mailroom or similar environment preferred
- Ability to operate mailroom equipment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to conduct quality checks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 pounds
- Must pass a background check
