Position: Mailroom Clerk

Location: Miamisburg, OH 45458

Pay Range: 16-18/hr.

Duration: 5+ months(100% extension or Conversion)

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for working/filing within a pre-staging area as well as within their file vault.
  • Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address complaints.
  • Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages.
  • Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions and other activities.
  • Compute, record and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports.
  • Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems.
  • Work will be split into multiple pieces that would cover the below items that workers could be moved between depending on their experience & aptitude:
  • Inventory of the files received. Paper spreadsheets will be used for tracking of files.
  • Identifying of documents - Will be pulling out documents to determine what kind of mortgage document it is(typically listed along the top). This stage is one that would have a critical need of attention to detail and accuracy as their work would be going right into the vaults as is.
  • Applying labels to folders and converting BBVA files into files. This is where the use of color-coded labels comes into play and attention to detail will be big here as well as labels will need to be placed in very specific areas of the folder to be readable.

Education/Experience.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent typically required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years administrative/customer service-related experience required.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (May be required)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

  • Dayton, OH 45458: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
