Machine Shop Supervisor

PSI Urethanes, located in North Austin, has been manufacturing custom cast urethane products for industrial usage for 55 years. We sell our products throughout the United States as well as internationally.

We are seeking an experienced working Supervisor for our Machine Shop to supervise, train and coordinate projects and tasks for all machining related tasks.

Primary Accountabilities:

· Evaluate all Machine Shop projects to determine type of work required and materials, manpower and equipment to be used.

· Supervise the operation of machinery and equipment as required.

· Order tools and materials necessary, following purchase order policies.

· Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, employee productivity and quality of product.

· Machine tool equipment repair and preventive maintenance schedules.

· Design and fabricate molds.

Minimum Job Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Minimum of five years’ experience in machining (required), with at least two years in a supervisory roll (desired)

· Experience with CNC machines (required) and manual machines (desired)

· Experience with 3-Axis Haas Mills and 3-Axis Lathes with live tooling and Fanuc Controls

· Ability to program CNC machines using MasterCam (required), Conversational Programming a plus.

· Ability to make mechanical drawings to use for quoting jobs and outside vendors

· Mold making experience a plus

· Experience with machining urethane or plastics a plus

· English language skills required

We offer a competitive salary. Bonuses are paid monthly based on the profitability of prior month. We perform employee performance reviews every 6 months for the first 2 years, and then annually after that.
