Donson Machine is located in Alsip, Illinois. We are currently accepting applications for our ongoing Manufacturing Engineer Apprenticeship.
Learn how to operate, setup, and program. A unique opportunity to learn hands on precision machining. Requirements:
· College Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
· Availability to work 40 hours/week (with opportunity for overtime)
· Willingness and excitement to learn on a daily basis working through a 3–5-year apprenticeship program
· Team player with excellent written and communication skills
· Ability to work independently and adapt to change quickly
· Effectively problem-solve and deliver high quality results
Benefits to our Apprenticeship Program:
· On the job training which will build upon your engineering expertise through learning some of the medical and aerospace industries most complicated parts.
· Work alongside our experienced journeymen learning how to set-up and operate CNC Mill & Lathe machines, as well as EDM’s.
· Understanding of a top-tier manufacturing plant by spending time in all departments and sub-departments (tool crib, material receiving, polishing and laser marking)
