Pavestone LLC, part of The QUIKRETE® Companies, LLC the leading packaged cement and concrete products producer, has immediate openings for highly motivated Production/Machine Operators for our Pedricktown, NJ facility.

Shifts available:

2nd shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Training will be on 1st shift; 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

The Machine Operator is responsible to operate sophisticated and computerized heavy manufacturing equipment and reports to the Plant Supervisor. Make sure equipment and tools are used according to manufacturer’s specifications. Take a variety of measurements throughout the shift to monitor the process and ensure quality. Perform machine set up and maintenance as needed according to specifications. Clean the machines as needed throughout the shift. Operate a forklift as needed.

Job Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience. Show strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills. Have knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, power transmission, pneumatic and control systems. Batching experience is a plus. Must show past ability to work independently and with a team.

• Must be 18 years of age.

• Must be in good physical condition.

• Must be able to operate and work around industrial machinery.

• Must be able to wear respirators, safety glasses, and or hearing protection in required areas.

• Must be able to work with others with limited supervision.

• Must be able to take direction in a manufacturing environment with ever changing demands.

This is an industrial environment and requires attention to SAFETY, physical dexterity and intermittently required to use hands, arms, legs, feet, body, and trunk to carry, lift/lower, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
