We are hiring a Machine Operator for a privately owned manufacturing company with an excellent work environment! This is a 1st shift position with 3 regularly scheduled days off per week.

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical equipment operations to support the product lines
• Detect and report defective material or questionable conditions to the supervisor
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow safety policies and procedures
• Must be able to use simple hand tools to disassemble and reassemble equipment and machinery for basic cleaning and inspection
• Other regular duties that are required are related to set up, break down, clean up and maintenance of work areas and any other duties as assigned.

Required Physical Demands:

• Frequently required to stand, up to three hours, and occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl in an unrestrictive and sometimes repetitive manner.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception with or without corrective lenses.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of factory/manufacturing related experience
• Forklift experience preferred
• Basic plumbing or mechanical knowledge
• Familiarity with machines and machine maintenance
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
