Architectural Glass Industries, LLC of Sandy Hook, CT, www.archglassind.com, is seeking a part-time or full-time strong, machine operator. The machine operator will be doing a lot of lifting.

Architectural Glass Industries is a full service glass tempering, manufacturing and fabrication company. We are also a second chance employer.

Job Title: Fabricator

Includes:

• Operating Equipment (polishers & CNC waterjet)
• Inspecting glass for defects

Job Requirements:

• Quick to learn.
• CNC Experience a plus
• Good math skills.
• Dead lift to waist height 50 lbs
• Excellent physical condition due to heavy lifting. You will be constantly lifting glass at various weights.
• Work in a team environment
• Be on your feet .
• Speak good English and read English.
• Read a tape measure.
• No smoking breaks except at lunch break.
• No smoking in the building.

Hours are Flexible for part time employees.

Fulltime employees the hours are 6:30 am - 3:30 pm.

Salary is negotiable based on experience
