Luxury Retreat Chef:

The Luxury Retreat Chef works to provide world-class service to the weekly participants in the 40 Years of Zen program by designing and executing inventive and nutritious cuisine and ensuring that all food prepared meets the highest quality standards. The Chef is a point of contact for clients with questions related to the ingredients, food preparation and information regarding the specialized meals and will contribute to an exceptional client experience, a lasting impression, and upholding the five star standard in which 40 Years of Zen exemplifies.

This person must be reliable, highly organized, calm, trustworthy, warm, gregarious and able to juggle multiple balls and scenarios while being flexible. Ideally, they are familiar with and passionate about health and nutrition and interested in bio-hacking to achieve optimal mental and physical performance.

What You Will Be Doing:

● Prepare lunch and dinner daily for clients going through the intensive 5 day neurofeedback program

● Create and implement weekly menus that must adhere to the Bulletproof Diet restrictions and protocols

● Prepare food costings for all menu items staying within the allotted budget

● Source and shop for ingredients as well as tools and equipment as needed

● Inspect meal ingredients before making purchases to ensure that they are of the highest quality and meet brand standards

● Prepare customized meals for weekly clients in accordance with food health and safety regulations and based on their preferences, specifications, and dietary needs

● Clean and sanitize work areas before and after meal preparation

● Appropriately package and label prepared meals that are to be consumed at a later date

● Provide clients with information on ingredients and methods used in their meal preparation

What It Takes:

● Culinary Degree or equivalent experience

● Knowledge of various cuisines as well as health and safety regulations

● A strong understanding of nutrition

● Meticulous organization, attention to details and time management skills

● Stellar communication, professionalism and customer service skills

● Great representation of the 40 Years of Zen brand, including modeling the core values of integrity, kindness, curiosity and world class standards in everything we do!

Compensation:

Based on this position and the requirements above, we are offering a yearly salary of $85,000 - $100,000 for this position.

Benefits:

We offer competitive compensation, paid vacation, sick pay and holiday pay. In addition, as an employer we pay 100% of our employees premiums for Medical, Dental, and Vision.
