Long Term Care /SNF Payer Tracker Job at Comprehensive Healthcare Solutions
Nursing Home Billing Company seeking a Long Term Care Payer Coordinator to fulfill and coordinate various duties such as scheduling and risk management.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Verify and double check resident information (NRI) from admission.
- Follow HMO authorizations to ensure that every HMO patient is authorized.
- Follow LCD/ last covered day and ensure payer change or patient discharge.
- Plan when Medicaid will be needed and work with the facility and families to obtain all necessary financial information for the Medicaid application.
- Follow through on Medicaid application until it is approved.
- Deal with any issues/problems that may arise that may affect a patient’s payer (primary, secondary, and tertiary)

- Good Communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
- Team management and leadership skills.
- Documentation management and ability to use project management tools.
- Attention to detail even under pressure.
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
